Achieving our fullest potential is often hindered by barriers. In the world of finance, these barriers typically include capital, understanding, and confidence. Without significant capital, many believe they can’t participate in the market. Without a deep understanding, many fear they will not be successful. And without the confidence to begin, individuals may never take that first step to become future investors.
The Stockpile Foundation is dedicated to dismantling these barriers through comprehensive solutions. We partner with mission-driven organizations and community programs all with the singular aim of broadening financial awareness through education and hands-on learning. Our ultimate vision is to empower every individual, especially those in underserved communities, with the knowledge and confidence they need to embark on their financial journey.

Victor Wang
President and Board Member
Victor leads the vision, direction, and growth of Stockpile Foundation. An entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience, Victor has a proven track record of leading teams to a shared vision and is passionate about the education and economic empowerment of disadvantaged individuals, including those in underserved communities. Victor also serves as a member of the Board for EmpowerMe Academy, a non-profit that does leadership training through basketball.

Jennifer Itzkowitz
Board Member
Jennifer Itzkowitz is an Associate Professor of Finance at Seton Hall University and an adjunct faculty member at New York University. She earned a Ph.D. in Finance from the University of Florida. Her research examines contemporary problems in behavioral finance and corporate finance. Her research is published in academic journals and discussed in the popular press. Jennifer won the 2016 SHU Researcher of the Year award and 2020 SHU Faculty Teacher of the Year award. She is also a Co-Chair of M’Finda Kalunga Garden, a NYC nonprofit with the goal of “protecting and improving the community for the people who live and work here”.

Ritesh Somani
Board Member
Ritesh is product leader whose professional career spans over 20 years. Currently, Ritesh works at Adobe where he drives value added services and features for Adobe Commerce. He has a good understanding of financial challenges having worked at companies such as Intuit, Visa and PayPal in the past. Ritesh has successfully implemented easy to use and delightful solutions for millions of businesses and people worldwide and continues to advocate and evangelize financial solutions as a speaker and subject matter expert. In addition to this, Ritesh also serves as a director of the Magento Association, whose mission is to drive economic prosperity for budding entrepreneurs and established businesses within the ecommerce open source community. He's passionate about instilling financial education and literacy early on to serve as a tool for future financial success.

Amobi Okugo
Board Member
Amobi Okugo is a professional soccer player, entrepreneur, media host, and philanthropist who has been recognized as a Forbes 30 under 30 recipient. He is the founder of A Frugal Athlete, an online financial media platform that promotes prudent financial practices and smart career decisions amongst professional athletes and student athletes. He also founded the Ok U Go Foundation to help provide resources and opportunities to children from low income backgrounds through athletic, educational, and social programs.

Christine Tobin
Board Member
As Chief Operating Officer for Young Investors Society, Christine oversees the administration of various financial literacy programs for high school students across 43 states and 22 countries. She graduated with a B.A in Child Development and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from California State University Northridge.

Mukhtar Barna
Secretary and treasurer
Mukhtar graduated from Pune University, India, in 2009 with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration and, in 2014, from Tulane University, New Orleans, with a Master’s in Finance. Mukhtar is also the recipient of Fulbright, DAAD (“Deutscher Akademischer Austauschdienst"), and ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations) Scholarships. Mukhtar has 12 years of work experience working both with businesses and non-profit organizations.

The Stockpile Foundation provides grants and donations to fund efforts aligned with its mission and learning content at no charge for the purpose of educating those who don’t have the confidence to get started in investing. The foundation’s board of directors will take part in webinars, panels and speaking engagements to further the mission of the foundation.
